Situated at 1220 Malvern Road, within the prestigious enclave of Malvern, residential development ‘Spring’ is known for its architectural integrity. As such, its body corp is invested in keeping the building’s exterior well-maintained.
Since its completion three years ago, ‘Spring’ has become one of Melbourne’s most desirable addresses. To uphold its reputation as a residential gem, the building needed to be expertly cleaned and professionally repainted, so the Owners Corporation Managers engaged Avello to return ‘Spring’ to pristine condition.
Positioned only moments from a host of amenities, 1220 Malvern Road is a hive of activity. Heavy pedestrian traffic can sometimes be a challenge when refurbishing residential buildings, which is why Avello planned ahead.
As we needed to utilise a public footpath, our workspace was set up to ensure we weren’t in the way of passers by, resulting in minimum interruption caused to the community.
Working in collaboration with Dulux, we developed a specification to achieve the desired results. Before starting work, we also designed a bespoke work process that included the strict project management of our 8-week timeline. This enabled us to deliver on desired outcomes while honouring the distinctive design of the residential complex.
As a result of our expert project management, 1220 Malvern Road was given the care and attention it required to revive its original charm. Proving that a lick of paint, when applied professionally, can transform a tired exterior when the paint brush is in the right set of hands.
